Meryl Benham

Director for Pro Bono Projects

Ms. Benham is proud to serve as the first Director for Pro Bono Projects at Texas Tech University School of Law.  Before moving to Lubbock, where she worked as a felony criminal prosecutor at the Lubbock County District Attorney's Office, Ms. Benham worked as a litigation associate at Kelly Hart & Hallman in Fort Worth and as assistant disciplinary counsel for the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel in Dallas.  She has a strong commitment to public service and has designed and implemented programs at Texas Tech Law that allow students to participate in pro bono initiatives both in Lubbock and across the state.

Ms. Benham is licensed to practice in Texas and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
