Mr. Price graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he served as the Executive Editor of the Minnesota Journal of Global Trade. Before that, Mr. Price earned his B.A. in International Relations and Spanish at Brigham Young University (BYU), and completed his coursework towards a Master’s Degree in Spanish with an emphasis in Latin American Literature (also at BYU).
Mr. Price worked nine years in the Dallas office of the international law firm Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, where he served as a litigator working on a large variety of complex commercial and business disputes, including many in Latin America. Mr. Price also volunteered with the non-profit organization Human Rights Initiative, where he represented, on a pro bono basis, individuals seeking asylum before the U.S. Immigration Court.
Mr. Price served in the National Guard (Field Artillery and Active Duty-Special Work as a Spanish Translator). Mr. Price enjoys learning languages. He is fluent in Spanish, and can read Italian and Portuguese. Mr. Price loves to travel and, among other things, spent a semester in Guanajuato, Mexico and lived two years in Argentina. His wife, Cristina, is from the State of Guanajuato, and they have three children.
