Dan Runge

Assistant Director, Admissions and Recruitment

Prior to joining the law school, Dan spent time on Capitol Hill, worked in law school admissions at the University of Kansas, and served as an Assistant County Attorney. As an Assistant County Attorney, he handled a docket that included property crimes, drug possession, DUI and other traffic matters, and person felonies and misdemeanors.

Dan earned a LL.M. from the University of San Diego and his J.D. from the University of Kansas. As a student at KU Law, Dan was a Staff Editor on the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy, a clinic intern in the Project for Innocence and Post-Conviction Remedies, an extern with Justice Lawton R. Nuss of the Kansas Supreme Court, and studied abroad at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. He also worked as a law clerk for the O'Connor Law Firm, a personal injury and criminal defense firm in Kansas City, Missouri.
