Apply for Financial Aid
A number of scholarships, grants, and loans are available at the Texas Tech University School of Law. Financial aid applications can be found online through the Office of Student Financial Aid. Additional information is available in our catalog.
Employment
The Law School recommends that students devote their entire time to the study of law. Students who are engaged in outside employment may be asked to withdraw from the school if the amount of time spent in outside employment is deemed excessive or appears to interfere with the full-time study of law. Outside employment cannot exceed 20 hours per week.
International Students
Federal financial aid is available only to those students who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States. However, some international students may qualify for specific types of federal loans. Visit studentaid.ed.gov for more information.
All accepted international students must provide documentation showing financial responsibility. Please note that before an I-20 can be approved, accepted international students will have to show that they have access to funds equal to the estimated cost of education for a non-resident.
