Accept Offer of Admission

Accepted applicants will receive a letter offering them admission to Texas Tech University School of Law. The letter will detail the deposit payment process, including deadline and other information specific to the applicant's situation. Payment of the first deposit in a timely manner to the Texas Tech University School of Law signifies acceptance of admission by the applicant.

Deposits

The initial deposit is required from the applicant to accept the offer of admission in the entering class. Applicants who fail to submit their deposit by the date specified in their acceptance letter will forfeit their offer of admission.

Those accepted in the Regular Decision Admission process will be required to pay a first deposit of $300. Most applicants must submit this deposit by some time the first week of April, but those admitted later in the spring may have a different date. Consult your acceptance letter or the online status checker for your date. A second deposit is due on June 1. Admitted students who do not submit a second deposit will forfeit their seat in the class. We ask, however, that students who decide before June 1 to attend another law school inform the admissions office as soon as they make a decision out of courtesy to other applicants.

Applicants accepted through the Early Decision Program are required to pay a single non-refundable deposit of $750.

All seat deposits are non-refundable if you withdraw, but will be returned to you at Orientation if you choose to matriculate at Texas Tech.
