In August
30, 2005, the Census Bureau issued revised median family income tables
relating to: (a) the number of earners in a family, and
(b) family size. This table combines the portions of the
two tables relevant to means testing under the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevision
and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 (“BAPCPA”). The table presents the
annual income figures reported in the original Census Bureau tables,
and adds average monthly income calculations.
Note:
This table ignores the annual median income figures for 5, 6 and 7 person
families reported in the original Census Bureau tables. Median income
for 5, 6 and 7 person families is calculated pursuant to BC § 707(b)(6)(C)
& (7)(A)(iii), by starting with the annual income figures for 4 person
families and adding $525 per month for each individual in excess of
