Professor Rebecca A. Moss
|Adjunct Assistant Professor of Legal Practice
Admitted to practice in Texas and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas.
Professor Moss earned her B.B.A. in Accounting, summa cum laude, with honors, from Texas Tech University. She went on to earn her J.D., magna cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif.
After graduating from law school, Professor Moss clerked for the Honorable Jorge A. Solis in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division. Professor Moss then joined the Dallas office of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, where she focused her litigation practice on employment law. She also worked as a staff attorney with Central Dallas Ministries, Legal Action Works, where she represented low-income individuals in the area of family law. Professor Moss is currently of counsel at Moss Law Firm, P.C. in Lubbock, Texas, where she focuses on consumer collections and creditors’ rights.
