Saadia is from the Western New York region but she received her undergraduate degree in History from the University of Florida. She returned to Buffalo, NY to complete a Masters in Library Science and a J.D. at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo.
Saadia began working in the Law Library as a student assistant in the Charles B. Sears Law Library at SUNY Buffalo. She has also interned at the Supreme Court Library of Erie County. Upon graduation she became an Assistant Librarian. As a Student, she was active in various student organizations as well as the Special Libraries Association (SLA) and the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL). She is currently a member of AALL and Southwestern Association of Law Libraries.
Saadia is currently the Digital and Bibliographic Technologies Librarian at Texas Tech Law Library. She manages electronic resources and the institutional repository.
