Admitted to practice law in Texas, New Mexico, before the United States Tax Court, the U.S. District Court for New Mexico, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the United States Court of Federal Claims.

Professional Experience

Professor Holloman is a shareholder, director and President of Maddox, Holloman & Kirksey, PC, law firm in Hobbs, New Mexico. He has an active oil and gas practice that includes work in the development, acquisition and sale of oil and gas properties and litigation involving oil and gas matters. He also has an active business practice that includes work in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianship, conservatorship and trust law, real estate and business entities (including an active merger and acquisition practice).

Professional Activities

Professor Holloman currently serves as the Out-of-State Lawyer Liaison to the State Bar of Texas. Professor Holloman is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico Real Property, Trust and Estates Section, and served as chair of this Section in 2007. He has served as President of the Lea County Bar Association. Professor Holloman has been selected by his peers to appear in The Best Lawyers in America beginning with the 2003-2004 edition and all subsequent editions. Professor Holloman has also been named a Super Lawyer in New Mexico in the fields of Business/Corporate, Energy & Natural Resources, Estate Planning & Probate.
