Dean Doss received her J.D. from Texas Tech in 1999, after graduating from Texas A&M University in 1995 with a degree in Management. She was a member of the Texas Tech Law Review, serving as a Staff Member and Articles Editor. After law school, she worked as an associate with the law firm of Nelson & Nelson in Lubbock, Texas. Her practice consisted primarily of insurance defense. Dean Doss joined the law school as Director of Career Services in September of 2003, and was named Assistant Dean for Career Services in April 2008. In addition to serving on several community boards, she is an active member of the National Association for Law Placement.
