Admitted to practice in New Mexico, and before the United State Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the United States District Court for New Mexico.

Professor Dillon joined the faculty from the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she taught legal writing as a visiting instructor. A graduate of the UNM law school, Professor Dillon clerked for the Hon. Harris L Hartz on the New Mexico Court of Appeals. Following her clerkship, she practiced law in Albuquerque, primarily in the areas of insurance coverage, personal injury, and professional malpractice, with an emphasis on appeals.
