Professor Fernando M. Bustos

Fernando M. Bustos has served as an adjunct professor since 2000. He teaches Civil Rights Law and Interviewing and Counseling. Upon graduating from law school, Fernando served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sam R. Cummings, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Texas. He practices in the areas of civil rights law, receiverships, commercial litigation, and employment law, representing plaintiffs and defendants. From 2009-2011, he served as the Chairman of the Court Advisory Committee for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
