Lithuania Summer Law Program — Costs

Budget

The following is an estimated budget for the entire Lithuania Summer Law Program in Kaunas:

* Tuition is $4,000 for the entire 5 credit hour program (Sessions I and II). Students who attend Session I only will be charged $2,000. Those in externship placements will be charged an additional $1,000. The students who attend Session I only will be charged $50 only (not $100) for the mandatory activities fee.

** The $90 estimate for accommodations is based on the rate for a student living in the VMU dormitory. The cost of accommodations would be approximately $450 if the student stays at the Domus Pacis.

Tuition Refund

Prior to the commencement of the program, registrants may withdraw from the program and will receive a full refund of all monies advanced within twenty (20) days if:

  • changes are made in the course offerings or other significant aspects of the program;
  • a U.S. State Department Travel Warning or Alert covering program dates and destinations is issued for Lithuania; or
  • the program is canceled.

During the course of the program, registrants may withdraw from the program and will be refunded fees paid except for room and board payments utilized prior to the date of termination or withdrawal if:

  • changes are made in the course offerings or other significant aspects of the program;
  • a U.S. State Department Travel Warning or Alert covering program dates and destinations is issued for Lithuania; or
  • the program is terminated.

You must apply for financial aid from your own law school.

Payment Procedures

Non-TTU Students:

After you have submitted your application, Texas Tech Law will register you for a Texas Tech University student account and student number. Once registered, you will receive an email which will instruct you to create an eRaider username and password. After you have created your username and password, you should log into your Raiderlink account, www.raiderlink.ttu.edu, and follow the instructions below as set out for TTU Students.

TTU Students:

Upon applying for the Summer Law Program in Kaunas, Lithuania, a $75 consortium application fee will be charged to your Raiderlink account. After you have been accepted into the Summer Law Program, the remaining tuition and fees will be charged to your Raiderlink account.

In order to pay your consortium application fee and/or tuition and fees, you should log into your Raiderlink account here: www.raiderlink.ttu.edu. Once logged in, click on the “TTU MyTech” tab near the top of the screen. After you have selected “TTU MyTech,” you should see a section titled “Manage My Finances” on the left-hand side of your screen. Below “Manage My Finances,” please select the “Student Business Services” tab, then click on “eBill.” From the “eBill” screen, you will be able to view all pending charges.

Payment via Credit/Debit Card or U.S. Bank Wire Transfer

While on the “eBill” page, select “Make a Payment” and follow the prompts to pay your consortium application fee and/or tuition and fees.

Payment via Foreign Bank Wire Transfer

Below the “Student Business Services” tab, click on “International Payments” and follow the prompts to create an account and pay your consortium application fee and/or tuition and fees.

Note: Students are permitted to pay only what they owe and only after their Raiderlink account has been charged, so check your account frequently for charges. Remember that you are responsible for paying the consortium application fee and the program tuition and fees by the appropriate deadline.
